Come one, Come all! Yard Sale!!! This saturday, August 26 from 8 am till ~2 pm at 828 Dickle Street we'll be selling off our old junk for a good cause! Let me know if you have stuff you want to get rid of, or stop on by if you want to pick up some good deals! So far we'll be selling off pillows, lamps, lamp shades, 2 TVs, linens, clothes, books, steel toed dress shoes (womens, size 9), bric-a-brac, folding chairs and all sorts of stuff! To get there, turn right off of 23rd street just past City Park. 828 Dickle St is on your left. All proceeds will go toward helping our club help our community!

As for sale details, price your own goods (in quarter increments!), bring your own hangers if you're going to need them, and be there by 7:30 am to help. I'll bring change, scott will bring a rope and the tables,

Habitat for Humanity will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 26. We need a guaranteed 8 to 10 people, so please let him know ASAP if you will commit to being there!

Steve and Chris will be at meals for one this thursday, 8/24 from 4:50 - 6:10 pm.

Don't forget, the Day of Caring is coming up October 10. We'll look forward to hearing more from Bryen about that!

The American Heart Association will have the annual fund-raising walk on Sept. 20th. Contact Maria Sautter (Maria.M.Sautter@usa.dupont.com) for more information or to participate!

In old business, Adopt a Highway was amazing! we had 9 people show up to help, and collected 10 bags of trash in only 1 1/2 hours! The general concensus is that we worked so hard on the previous clean ups that we've gotten the base cleaned up and from here on out, it's smooth sailing. We'll see about that the next time!

That's about all! no word yet about volunteer vacations (maybe we'll stage our own in the fall), and the volunteer recognition form wasn't far enough along yet to review. Stay tuned for more!
