**6/11/01 - Noah's Arc Thrift Shop needs help w/sorting and boxing summer garage sale donations! Work sessions will be held at 628 W. Virginia Ave, off Murdoch just behind the Bargain Corner, on Saturdays at 2 pm, and Mondays from 4 - 7 pm. Please stop by any session you can, but we'll have a group of 3 or 4 there this monday eve.

*Habitat for Humanity - Emily to plan. Scott to provide contact info.
*Julie to contact the Library for if/when they need readers to volunteer.

*Work is continuing to help Jon help Mary. Basic construction type work will be going on at 1126 Market St, with ample parking in the Medical Center lot beside his house, or at the new Post Office. Contact Jon Six to sign up or for more information at 422-6727, or Becky Dines at 489-9118. >

*Relay for Life Update: Local Motives raised $1000 for the American Cancer Society! A HUGE Thanks to all who contributed and participated in this achiecement!!! Also, anyone who didn't get a Relay for Life T-shirt, let me know! i have several remaining....1M, 2L, 1XL. i don't need 5 of these tshirts!!!

*the Mid Ohio Valley Photography Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at WVU-P for those shutterbugs out there!

*Parkersburg Library is constructing an Arboretum and is looking for volunteers to build vences, weed, grim grass, instruct school classes, design and complete exhibits and displays, and to lead groups and answer questions. Look forward to a organized session there in the near future.

 Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, June 21 at Quincy Park. Bring your own dinner (we'll have a grill), and gardening tools. after we eat and have the basic meeting, we'll head to City Park to weed and mulch our garden. see you then!!!
