New Business:

*After mulching and weeding tonight, our City Park garden looks great! we're on the lookout for plant donations from anyone who's thinning out their gardens!

*Relay for Life Luminaria forms are available now to honor friends who have had cancer. All team members have forms available. The minimum suggested donation for a candle to be lighted is $5. The Lighting Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9:30 on 5/17, 5/19 in the event of bad weather.

*Candy bar sales are going great! If you haven't tried them yet, get your chocolate/almond, peanut butter meltaway, caramel, or crispy crunch bar today!

*Candle sales have begun. for $6 we are selling heart-shaped candles ~2" tall and 4" diameter, in scents of Cinnamon, Love Spell, Hot Apple Pie, Sugar Cookie, and Blueberry. Make arrangements with Steve to pick up candy bars or candles (learn@frognet.net, but he's off on vacation next week), or see a local motives member to buy some for yourself! they make great gifts!

*profits from sales of candy bars or candles will go toward your personal total of money raised for Relay for Life. For example: If Janet sells 20 candy bars for $1 each, she will have raised $20. After covering local motive's costs, $10 of that is profit, so Janet has raised $10 for relay for life. Candy bar profits are $0.50, Candle profits are $2.

*Cycle for CF, scheduled to be held May 4, has been cancelled.
