VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER:  Sign up now to volunteer on December 25 to help with food preparation, serving, clean up, meal delivery and gift giving.

ARE YOU A COOKIE BAKER?  Volunteer to bake cookies that will be given as gifts to individuals and families who attend a community Christmas dinner.  Donations of small toys and ornaments are also welcomed.

HELP PROVIDE CARE PACKAGES FOR FOSTER CHILDREN:  A local agency is seeking donations of personal-care items and new or gently used clothing for children.  Particular needs are coats, clothing, toothbrushes, hair brushes, and combs. You are welcome to donate items and/or help with assembling the care packages.

PROVIDE INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE: Volunteer for 3-hour sessions at times convenient to you. Four days of training will be provided the week of January 6. Volunteers are also needed to screen applicants to make sure they have brought the needed information with them.  This might be a great opportunity to learn a little more yourself!

Women Raise the Roof will be painting their habitat house interior this Saturday... be sure to wear old clothes/shoes you don't mind getting paint on.  they'll also be installing the subfloor in the kitchen, dining room and baths. based upon volunteer turnout they may also install light switches and ceiling fixtures, and set HVAC ceiling vents. With upcoming holidays, they will work the following days...

our christmas tree is rumored to have been bought by the Pizza Place for ~$100, to benefit the Easter Seals!!!

Happy Holidays everyone! We'll alter January's schedule to give everyone holiday recovery time, and see you back January 9, time and place TBA. we'll try to arrange to have a local boy scout leader come help us figure out what we need to know to do merit badge counseling, and do general planning for the year!!!
