Help clean up the Sumner School/Community Center on November 9, 2002, 11am-2pm!  Sumner School was the first free Black school south of the Mason-Dixon Line.  Several years ago, it became a community center and historical museum, and sponsors a tutorial program and provides a meeting place for community groups in the Mid-Ohio Valley. 6 Judges are needed for the  Lubeck Elementary School science fair on Tuesday, November 19.  The judging hours are expected to be from 9 a.m.until approx. 11 or 11:30 a.m. The grades are 4-6.  contact Dawn Jackson for more info! (Dawn.D.Jackson@USA.dupont.com)

The Parkersburg Actors Guild is doing some internal reorganizing, and members are nominating candidates for a new Board of Trustees, to be elected in November.  If you would be interested -- or if you know someone else who might be interested  -- please let me know by November 1, and I will get some details for you.
