Sorry for the late notice about the last meeting, but please do remember, planning meetings are the first and third thursdays of each month, 7pm, at varying locations. HOWEVER, july will be weird due to the 4th of july holiday. the meetings will be on 7/11 and 7/18. thge 7/11 will be at 7pm, at the city park garden.

First - we'll be leading a music fest/karaoke/dance/singalong/great time at the Washington County Home on Saturday, July 20 at 9:30 am. the residents are really looking forward to us bringing back this event that they used to enjoy, but had to give up for lack of volunteers to come lead the show, so it's an opportunity for us to really make a difference in their lives!

Second, the parkersburg actor's guild is producing Annie, and needs ushers! Julie's still looking into an event w/the 4-Hers, and Steves's still looking for something w/the Boy Scouts. Marika found out that Camden Clark requires too much committment and paperwork for us to volunteer there, but if any of you have an individual interest, they are looking for volunteers. Emily's still looking into possibilities w/St Joe's.

The official relay for life total for local motives from the ACS came in at over $1500!!!! we don't even think that includes everyone's donations, but it STILL puts us in at over $400 greater than last year's total!!!! thanks again to everyone's hard work!!!!

if you are interested in volunteering for the Mid Ohio Valley Triathlon, at Mountwood this year, on Saturday July 6th at 10 am, there is a volunteer meeting this Wed. (6/26/02).
