*March 2 - Softball Tournament. Need Teams to enter, and need volunteers to help play ball during the fun time (for mentally handicapped kids. contact emily at ebyrer@hicksoutdoor.com if you're interested. the tournament is in south parkersburg at "the dugout", on rt. 95 near the intersection of rt. 95 and gihon road. to help during fun time, show up at 11:30 am.

*we approved the $25 for a dunking booth during relay for life, contingent upon approval by the relay for life higher ups. steve and brian investigating.

*we agreed that we are interested in getting candy bars to set out at work to raise money for relay for life. chris will investigate initial investment.

*we agreed that local motives is interested in working with dawn jackson and dupont for getting new volunteers, new projects, and some funding. local motives will, however, remain an independent organization.

*an Adopt A Highway pickup has been scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at 10 am.

*the Parkersburg Literacy Center is looking for tutors to help ESL (English as a Second Lanquage) students learn english. the committment is 1 hr/wk at the wood county public library, according to your own schedule. contact the library or Kate.Redmond@usa.dupont.com for more info.

*look for a reading related service event coming in the next few weeks. chris to follow up.

*non service related, steve's band is playing at the North Hills Lanes bar (Flops) on March 2 and March 23 - check them out if you're looking for something to do!
